A total of 86 out of 147 English trusts were in the red. A rising demand for services was being blamed.
Accident units closing – GP appointments in weeks, not in days if your quite ill – etc etc. The system is breaking at the seams. Good people work in the NHS but their relationship with some of the public who need them is and has been eroded by the bureaucracy and pressure there under.
The problems facing the NHS are so deep that major improvements in services are just being swamped.
